Serangan Teachers Explore AI ClassOS for Innovative Learning

DENPASARPT Bali Turtle Island Development (BTID), the developer and management entity of the Kura Kura Bali Special Economic Zone (SEZ), collaborated with Bamboomedia to provide AI training for Serangan teachers through an introduction to the Artificial Intelligence Class Operating System (AI ClassOS).

Held at UID Bali Campus, the program was specially designed to deepen educators’ understanding of the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education.

The training brought together representatives from SD Negeri 2 Serangan, SD Negeri 3 Serangan, SMP Negeri 11 Denpasar, and Yayasan Peduli Kemanusiaan (YPK) Bali.

AI Training for Serangan Teachers

The program was designed not only to equip participants with the skills required to apply artificial intelligence in teaching but also to encourage them to share their newly acquired knowledge with fellow teachers at their respective schools.

The sessions began with an introduction to AI in education and AI ClassOS, an artificial intelligence-based classroom operating system developed by Bamboomedia.

Participants also took part in hands-on practice sessions, where they explored the AI Teacher Assistant and created learning materials using AI ClassOS.

The program continued with a discussion session and the presentation of follow-up plans.

AI ClassOS Supports Equal Access to Quality Learning

AI ClassOS was developed by Bamboomedia to help educators prepare and deliver teaching materials with consistent content standards, whether they teach in major cities or more remote areas.

Putu Sudiarta, President Director of PT Bamboomedia Cipta Persada, explained that the innovation was developed in response to disparities in teaching quality across different regions of Indonesia.

“One of the challenges in Indonesia is our geographically dispersed population. Our schools vary greatly, from those in major cities to those in remote areas. With AI ClassOS, teachers now have AI supporting them in the classroom with premium content that follows the same standards, from cities to villages,” Putu Sudiarta said on Friday, August 14, 2026.

According to Putu, the AI innovation was created by local Balinese talent with the ambition of creating a significant leap forward in education.

“This Classroom Operating System is an AI innovation developed using the latest technology. Innovation does not always have to come from major cities. It can also come from the regions with the same spirit,” he said.

He also expressed his appreciation for the collaboration between Kura Kura Bali, Bamboomedia, and UID Bali Campus, which reflects the shared values of collaboration, sustainability, and leadership.

“I believe that with the same spirit, many new innovators and extraordinary talents from across Indonesia will emerge, with their journey beginning at UID and Kura Kura Bali,” he added.

Teachers Experience the Benefits of AI ClassOS

Participants showed strong enthusiasm as they experienced the benefits and accessibility of the technology firsthand.

Saras, a teacher representative from SMP Negeri 11 Denpasar, said the information presented during the training was engaging and delivered clearly and concisely.

“The material was summarized very well. It is not only useful for students at school, but I can also directly apply what I learned to help answer my own child’s questions at home,” Saras said.

The technology also demonstrated potential applications in inclusive education.

Ulan, a representative from Yayasan Peduli Kemanusiaan (YPK) Bali, said the training introduced her to a wide range of new materials that could potentially be applied to teaching methods at the foundation.

“Today’s training was extraordinary because I received so much new information. At the foundation, we teach children with physical disabilities, so this AI innovation could become a very promising breakthrough for us to apply in our teaching methods,” Ulan said.

Bringing AI Technology into Serangan Classrooms

Reflecting the company’s commitment to growing together with the local community, BTID Head of Communications Zefri Alfaruqy emphasized the important role teachers play in shaping the future.

“We believe that the greatest power to change the future lies in the hands of teachers,” Zefri Alfaruqy said.

“Introducing AI technology into classrooms in Serangan is part of our effort to ensure that no child is left behind as technology continues to advance,” he emphasized.

“We want every teacher here to feel fully supported in their efforts to nurture a future generation of Serangan that is resilient, intelligent, and competitive,” he added.

Through this strategic collaboration, BTID, Bamboomedia, and UID Bali Campus hope that the AI ClassOS initiative in Serangan can serve as an initial pilot program to help bridge gaps in access to education while preparing teachers and younger generations for future technological developments.
