On the shores of Desa Serangan, waves are more than just rolling tides—they carry dreams. For the third time, Kura Kura Bali Special Economic Zone (SEZ) has supported the Serangan Board Riders Challenge, an event born from the passion of the local surfing community.
More than 150 participants, from juniors to professionals, gathered to ride the consistent waves of Serangan Beach. Surfers not only from Indonesia but also from countries such as India, Korea, and Japan joined the competition bringing both competitive spirit and cross-cultural friendship.
For the community, this event is more than a contest; it is a platform for nurturing the next generation. Young surfers aged 10 to 18 are trained and guided to become athletes ready to compete on the global stage. This vision is already a reality, as seen in talents like I Made Pajar Aryana, who has brought pride to Indonesia internationally.
The support of facilities and ecosystem from Kura Kura Bali SEZ has become a strong foundation for this growth. Beyond just providing a venue, what truly thrives in Serangan is a collective spirit—a collaboration between the community, athletes, and the area’s management.
In the end, the Serangan Board Riders Challenge is not only about conquering the best waves. It is about how a small village in Bali continues to send big dreams onto the global stage—through courage, friendship, and a spirit that never stops moving forward.
