A New Island Shopping Landmark for Bali: Mitsubishi Estate’s Landmark Project Features more than 100 Premier Brands at Kura Kura Bali’s Sunset Waterfront

Mitsubishi Estate is making a major bet on the island’s future through the launch of Sira Village – Grand Outlet Bali — Bali’s first and largest sunset-front outlet village destination, where more than 100 premier brands meet ocean views, open-air dining, Balinese culture, and the relaxed rhythm of island life — scheduled to open in July 31st, 2026

Developed in partnership with Kura Kura Bali, the destination reflects growing confidence in Bali not only as a tourism hub, but as a world-class destination for lifestyle, culture, and experience-driven travel.

Located within the Kura Kura Bali Special Economic Zone (SEZ), the destination sits just 20 minutes from I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport via the Bali Mandara Toll Road and Bypass Ngurah Rai — creating an effortless connection between the airport, Bali’s tourism belt, and what many are already calling the island’s next major lifestyle landmark.

But Sira Village is designed to be far more than another shopping destination.

Sira Village was imagined as a destination where fashion, architecture, sea breeze, and Bali sunsets come together in one immersive experience.

Picture an afternoon browsing Marc Jacobs, Coach, or BOSS, before walking toward a sunset promenade overlooking the ocean, with Garuda Wisnu Kencana visible in the distance. Imagine rooftop swims at ISOLA, the Mediterranean-inspired Italian dining and lifestyle concept, as the sky turns gold over the water, followed by alfresco dining, cocktails, and live cultural performances by the sea.

This is the atmosphere Mitsubishi Estate and Kura Kura Bali are bringing to life.

“The arrival of Sira Village reflects our vision of creating a destination where global lifestyle experiences and Bali’s cultural identity naturally coexist,” said Tuti Hadiputranto, President Director of Kura Kura Bali. “This is not simply about retail. It is about shaping a new waterfront lifestyle experience for Bali — one that feels open, vibrant, social, and deeply connected to the island’s soul.”

The destination will feature more than 100 premiere fashion and lifestyle brands, making it the largest outlet offering in Bali. Beyond globally recognized names such as Kate Spade, Calvin Klein, Lacoste, Tommy Hilfiger, Adidas, Puma and Nike. Sira Village will also introduce several firsts for Bali and Indonesia, including Kinokuniya’s first Bali store and the Indonesian debut of Hazelwood, a U.S.-born fashion brand.

Designed as a year-round outlet destination, Sira Village will offer access to discounted collections and attractive outlet pricing, creating a more accessible luxury shopping experience for both domestic and international visitors. Adding local character to the international mix, the village will also feature Alun-Alun Indonesia, a curated showcase celebrating Indonesian craftsmanship, homegrown labels, and Bali-based creative brands. Traditional Balinese performances, interactive art activations, and community-driven cultural programming will further position Sira Village as a destination rooted in place, rather than simply commerce.

Sustainability is also central to the project’s philosophy. Sira Village is currently progressing toward BCA Green Mark Gold Certification, reinforcing commitments to responsible architecture, operational efficiency, and long-term environmental stewardship.

Mitsubishi Estate describes this approach as a “Second Life” philosophy — extending the lifecycle of quality products through outlet retail while encouraging more conscious consumption.

“We are thrilled to expand Mitsubishi Estate’s footprint with this landmark project in Bali, a truly world-renowned destination. Establishing our presence within this prestigious Special Economic Zone is a rare opportunity to enhance our premium portfolio while contributing to the vibrant future of Indonesia’s tourism and retail sectors” said Yoshinori Nakamura, President Director of PT Mitsubishi Estate Indonesia (MEI).

As Bali continues evolving from a tourism destination into a global lifestyle capital, Sira Village is expected to become one of the island’s most talked-about new openings — contributing to economic growth, local job creation, and Bali’s emergence as a premium shopping and lifestyle hub in Southeast Asia.

For travelers who love premium shopping experience, sunset culture, and discovering places before the rest of the world does, one date is already beginning to stand out:

July 31, 2026.
