THE JOURNEY OF UNITED IN DIVERSITY BALI CAMPUS ESTABLISHMENT UID Bali Campus is presented by the Upaya Indonesia Damai Foundation, better known as United in Diversity (UID). UID's journey started in 1997 with a call to maintain the integrity of the unitary Republic of Indonesia after the monetary crisis. It started by building mutual trust amongst the tri-sector, government-business-civil society organization.&nbsp; Several initiatives and programs were born such as : IDEAS, in collaboration with MIT Sloan ManagementCO-CLASS and Happy Digital X, in collaboration with Tsinghua UniversityBEKAL Pemimpin, in collaboration with Packard FoundationThe Youth Action Forum (YAF)Making Indonesia 4.0and many other programs. UID’s vision is a united and peaceful Indonesia and the world through synergy among diverse constituents of Indonesian society and the international community. Its mission is to serve as an educational platform and to act as a catalyst for trust-building and cooperation among business, the public sector, and civil society through a learning process for our sustainable common future. UID BALI CAMPUS AT A GLANCE UID Bali Campus which is located at Kura Kura Bali in Bali Island will be the home for UID distinguished partners : Tsinghua Southeast Asia CenterUnited Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network for Southeast Asia (SDSN SEA)THK Center of Future KnowledgeGlobal Ocean InstituteGlobal Health Architecture. As an educational platform and hub that brings together the best educational, research and development institutions in the world, the Campus will host UID's programs. The convening power of Bali&nbsp; attracts talents as we co-create programs with others. The Campus will be surrounded by the Knowledge Innovation and Technology Park&nbsp; with an ecosystem of innovation, entrepreneurship, and industry. The central notion of the existence of the Campus is Happiness. This derives from the local Balinese tradition of Tri Hita Karana, the three pathways to happiness, which call for harmony – harmony with society, harmony with nature, and harmony with spirit. This inspiration is from Bali and ancient values in the world, which are the core values and spirit of the Campus and a partner in taking on and solving local, regional, and world challenges.&nbsp;

The Tsinghua SEA&nbsp; is an organization that focuses on non-degree education and cultural exchange. Its operation is aided by UID Foundation (Yayasan Upaya Indonesia Damai/United In Diversity Foundation) and will be located in Kura Kura Bali, Bali.<b

Tsinghua South East Asia

United In Diversity was an education forum co-founded in 2003 by MIT Sloan School of Management, University of Indonesia, and GT Group Sinar Harapan. United in Diversity Forum later established Yayasan Upaya Indonesia Damai as a Foundation to work with leading global and local Universities, think tanks and tri sector partners to build trust for our Common Future.

SDSN mobilizes global scientific and technological expertise to promote practical solutions for sustainable development, including the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Paris Climate Agreement.

Established in early 2017, G Tech Digital Asia has been focusing on building end-to-end consumer digital engagement platforms.

RMI is an organization in the United States dedicated to research, publication, consulting, and lecturing in the general field of sustainability, with a special focus on profitable innovations for energy and resource efficiency. RMI is tackling the climate crisis by focusing on its main contributor: energy production and use, which represents 70% of global greenhouse gas emissions.

A love letter. The gallery is a dedication from Kura Kura Bali to Bali. It features the history of the Majapahit empire that inspires the Balinese culture till today.
